Blackberry Banana Smoothie

YUMMY!  Ingredients: 

6 oz blackberries

1 Package Mori-Nu soft tofu

1- Banana

A splash of rice milk.

Whirl and enjoy! 🙂  (Note:  This makes a LOT of smoothie.  I drank mine throughout the day, so either plan to finish it within *2* days of making, or plan to share with a friend)

Hemp, Banana, Peanut Butter, Honey, Rice Milk Smoothie! 🙂

Wowza! 🙂  Okay, first off, if you are trying to lose weight, do NOT make this smoothie.  It’s around 600 calories, and not for the faint of heart. 😉  This isn’t something I personally make very often, but it is too tasty not to have at all. 🙂  Anyway, recipe as follows:

1Tbsp hemp powder, 1 cup of rice milk, two tbsp peanut butter, 1tsp honey, 1 banana, 10 spinach leaves, one packet of cocoa flavored Amazing Grass.  Blend until smooth, and serve over ice.  DELICIOUS! 🙂

Breakfast was another bowl of cheerios, and another banana, so I didn’t take a picture.

Lunch was another tofu pup, and a side salad which had:  mushroom, red peppers, and spinach. 🙂  Mmmm.

Boring?  Yes?  Ok, maybe it’s not so exciting.  Like I said before though, I’m not big on cooking in the heat.  So as you can see I just had cheerios and almond milk last night.  It might not be exciting, but it is tasty. 🙂

This morning I had a bagel with immitation cream cheese, and I went to my window boxes and took some fresh chives to lay on top.  Mmmm.  I also had a banana. 🙂

First of all…  I NEED to talk about this Kashi no cheese Sicilian veggie pizza.  Last week I found out that lots of vegans order pizza at a normal restaurant, and just order NO CHEESE and get veggie toppings.  Excited by this, I ordered pizza that night for dinner, with no cheese..  And I was surprised at how delicious it was. 🙂

So naturally when I saw this Kashi no cheese pizza in the store I HAD to try it.  I cooked it up on Monday morning and just nibbled on it throughout the day.  The whole pizza is about 600 calories, which is really not bad at all.  It was too big for me to eat all at once, but you could totally save some for later like I did.  I really loved this pizza, and I give it an A+++.  I know that this weekend when I am grocery shopping I’m going to look for this first. 🙂  It was the last one left in the store, so it’s pretty popular.

 

And now, on to this morning. 🙂

I’m still a bit under the weather this morning, so I made a simple cucumber sandwich.  Recipe?  Here you go:

Toast two slices of bread. 

Add a thin layer of vegan mayo (I used veganaise) to both pieces of bread.

Add a little pepper to both pieces of bread.  (Optional, add salt to taste as well..  I usually leave that part out.)

Layer cut cucumber “coins” on one slice of the bread. 

Voila!  Tasty, crunchy, yummy cucumber sandwich. 🙂

I am also munching on some dry cheerios this morning.  I know I have almond milk in the fridge, but I actually like my cheerios best dry. 🙂  See you all for lunch!

This morning I woke up leisurely (which for me I suppose means around 8AM.)  *laughs*  And I had toast with avocado, a half a grapefruit, and some imitation sausage.  I thought everything was very tasty.  🙂  Mmm.  And yes, that is a dinnersaur in the picture.  I don’t normally eat my food with adult cutlery.  Kids stuff is waay more fun in my opinion. =)

Another thing I just wanted to mention is that during the weekend, or when things get really busy I may not post as often as I normally do during the week.  I just spend less time on the computer on the weekend, but I’m still taking pictures and I’ll post things just as soon as I get a chance.
