Hemp, Banana, Peanut Butter, Honey, Rice Milk Smoothie! 🙂

Wowza! 🙂  Okay, first off, if you are trying to lose weight, do NOT make this smoothie.  It’s around 600 calories, and not for the faint of heart. 😉  This isn’t something I personally make very often, but it is too tasty not to have at all. 🙂  Anyway, recipe as follows:

1Tbsp hemp powder, 1 cup of rice milk, two tbsp peanut butter, 1tsp honey, 1 banana, 10 spinach leaves, one packet of cocoa flavored Amazing Grass.  Blend until smooth, and serve over ice.  DELICIOUS! 🙂

Green Smoothie!

Green Smoothie!

Wow, it has definately been a while since I posted last.  There have been a few reasons for this.  The first reason is that it got very overwhealming keeping up with posting pictures of everything I ate.  Not only that, but in the beginning so many of the things I ate were the same day after day or week after week.

The second reason is a bit more understandable, recently, I moved all the way from Massachusettes to Colorado.  If you’ve ever moved I’m sure you can imagine the stress and craziness that happened with my schedule.  After thinking a lot about reason numero uno, I decided that I *DO*  want to keep this blog going so that people can indeed see what it is a vegan eats – but that I’m going to only post when I eat new or different things.

SO!  That being said, I have no idea when the above pictures were taken.  I got VERY bored VERY fast eating salads all the time, and have recently switched over to mainly green smoothies for my veggies.  I’m pretty sure that the green smoothie above has one kiwi, one avocado, and a TON of spinach in it.

The top picture there is something I call “blueberry avocado pudding”.  It has one whole avocado in it, two cups of blueberries, and one teaspoon of honey.  I actually got the recipe from here:

I know the original recipe called for a HALF of an avocado, but I found that the “pudding”  was a bit too tart for me so I added the other half of the avocado.  I hope to update with more foods soon! 😉
